Role Description

This is a temp to perm full-time on-site role for a Residential Support Worker located in the United Kingdom. The Residential Support Worker will be responsible for providing day-to-day care and support to the children and young people in our homes. This includes assisting with daily activities, supporting emotional well-being, creating and implementing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial as you will work closely with young people, their families, and other staff members to promote a positive and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker
• Ideally Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare or Health and Social Care as a foundation
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
• Knowledge of Safeguarding practices
• Technical Support skills related to care management systems
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young people
• Relevant certifications or training in social care or child care is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

We are offering £12.21 - £13.21 per hour depending on expereience. We currentky work on a 2 on 4 off basis.
