Job summary

Action for Children’s The Vines in High Wycombe is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help provide short breaks for young people with learning disabilities aged 11 to 19.

You will work on shift patterns from 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm and nights, building a warm, supportive environment and maintaining high standards of care and safety.

Role: Residential Support Worker

Salary: £13.45 an hour

Location High Wycombe, Bucks

Contract/Hours: Casual - Shifttimes are 7am to 3pm, 2pm to 10pm and 9.30pm to 7.30am Waking Nights. Varied Hours – pick and choose when you work,aroundyour study, family,retirement or home life!

A bit about the role

The Vines is situated in High Wycombe, just minutes off the M40, 20 minutes off the M25 and well served by local public transport network. In this warm and welcoming house, we provide residential short breaks that support children and young people with learning disabilities aged 11 to 19 who have complex behavioural needs.

We are looking for a Residential Worker to join our fun and supportive team, who can bring their experience, can-do attitude and passion with them and help maintain the high standards already set by our wonderful team! Working hours are on a shift basis and you'll know your rota a month in advance.

How you'll help to create brighter futures

• Provide lead case/care planning management, including assessing, reviewing and managing risk.
• Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service, with multi agency and producing
