Job summary

Harmony Fire is seeking a Residential Sprinkler Service Engineer to cover London & the South East or the Midlands. You will perform planned maintenance and reactive servicing of residential sprinkler systems, ensuring systems are compliant, functional and properly documented.

This field-based role rewards accuracy, autonomy and strong client communication on site. You will inspect, test and commission installations, log all activities, and stay aligned with health & safety and site rules while

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing residential sprinkler systems to BS 9251.
• Ability to inspect, test and commission systems and produce compliant records.
• Strong fault-finding and on-site diagnostic skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to manage a regional diary.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive servicing of residential sprinkler systems.
• Inspect, test and commission installations with compliant records.
• Diagnose faults, minimise downtime and update clients on progress.
• Identify defects and report remedial needs to the Service team.
• Maintain van stock, tools and testing equipment to standard.
• Liaise professionally with clients, managers and residents on site.
• Ensure accurate time logging and certification records in the system.
• Comply with health & safety and site rules; participate in out-of-hours rota.
