We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who have the right skills, values, and knowledge to work with our vulnerable children with Intellectual Disabilities. You will need to look after them meeting their physical, emotional, cultural and health care needs. You will be part of a fantastic warm nurturing team. This post is not open for sponsorship.
You must have experience of working with children and young people within a residential setting or school and have experience of working with children or adults with Autism.

Do you love working with children? Do you have resilience to work in what can sometimes be a physically and emotionally challenging environment? We currently have two vacancies for the full-time post of residential social care worker.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person. The post involves working shifts which include weekends and bank holidays. The shifts are either Earlies - 6.30am-3pm or Lates - 2pm-10pm, and on a rota basis, working two weekends out of three. The full-time rota is done usually 12 weeks in advance which staff appreciate so they can plan ahead.
We offer generous enhancements for shift work. Paying extra for working after 8pm and extra at weekends and bank holidays, which makes a considerable difference to the annual pay. A Market factor supplement has also been agreed this year adding an additional £1,500 to the pay.
NCC have fantastic terms and conditions and staff are well looked after with pension contributions and a substantial holiday entitlement above statutory requirements, full induction including enrolment on a relevant Level 3 qualification if one is not already held.
