Job summary

Apex Resources Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a residential house build project. You will work alongside the Site Manager to ensure the project progresses on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.

You will assist with day-to-day site operations, monitor health and safety, coordinate materials, and maintain quality and cleanliness on site. Previous experience and CSCS card are preferred, with SMSTS/SSSTS as desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role.
• Residential construction experience preferred.
• Valid CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day site operations and supervision of trades and subcontractors.
• Monitor health & safety compliance on site.
• Support scheduling, material orders, and deliveries.
• Ensure quality control and site cleanliness.
• Liaise with suppliers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Report progress to the Site Manager and help resolve any site issues.
