Job Overview

The Residential Service Technician represents our company to customers by delivering outstanding service. You will install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC operational and performance issues independently.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Communicate with customers about repairs needed and completed.
• Recommend indoor air quality solutions such as humidifiers, air purifiers, UV lights, and upgraded filtration.
• Use technology to record service information, communicate with customer service, and order parts.
• Support after-hours and weekend on-call service rotation.

Requirements

• EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification, Universal
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience
• 10-hour OSHA safety certification
• NATE certification
• Knowledge of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems
• Ability to mentor and train less experienced team members

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs
• Work in confined spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces
• Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
• Good vision with normal depth perception

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
