The role?
An exciting role has arisen on an exciting new project for a Senior Crane Service Technician to join us here at EnerMech. This is a permanent staff position where you will be based on one of a few different sites in England as this is a field based role.
The role offers excellent work life balance opportunities where the expectation is you will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime for anything worked over that. You will be responsible for ensuring crane integrity is maintained and operated to current legislative, corporate and manufacturers recommendations and in line with client specifications. Other duties will include carrying out fault-finding and breakdown maintenance work whilst liaising with the site team as required, to liaise and work with the incumbent contractors and other sub-contractors as required to carry out other and multi-discipline work on the cranes and assisting in investigations and recommend improvements following equipment failures or onset of deterioration of components, machinery or structural parts. You will also be expected to update work and equipment history records on maintenance management systems electronically.

You are?
To be successful for this role it is essential you hold a recognised Apprenticeship or electrical qualification. An understanding of LOLER Regulations and LEEA Guidelines is also essential. You must have a proven track record in working with gantry cranes and repair and maintenance of crane equipment to be considered for this role.
You must hold strong communication skills to have effective, decisive, consistent and clear communication with any site personnel. You will have a strong background in crane operations and maintenance and therefore be able to perform most tasks and require minimal supervision.
