Job summary

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a Residential Service Manager to lead Hawkesbury Lodge in Coventry, a 14-bed residential rehabilitation service with a Care Hub. You will oversee 24/7 operations, staffing, risk management and the delivery of person-centred recovery-focused care for adults with complex mental health needs.

Working with CWPT Enablement Teams and NHS partners, you will drive high-quality care planning, assessment, and progression planning while ensuring compliance with CQC

Qualifications

• Level 3/4 Health and Social Care qualification required.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or working towards.
• Experience in supervisory or management role within mental health or social care.
• Experience in residential mental health, rehabilitation or recovery-focused services.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Experience managing risk and safeguarding.
• Ability to respond to crisis and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational delivery of a 24/7 residential rehabilitation service.
• Oversee recruitment, induction and ongoing training of staff.
• Ensure safeguarding, incident reporting and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with CWPT Enablement Teams for MDT working and integrated care.
• Manage risk and escalation pathways in line with organisational protocols.
• Support integrated care delivery with Care Hub teams.
