Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Residential Quality Assurance Assistant to join their highly skilled student services department. This department provides advice and support for students on a wide range of non-academic and educational needs. The department aims to enable all students to achieve their potential while studying, by providing an approachable and reliable service that students can trust.
The Accommodation Service are looking for a proactive customer focused individual to support the 3 Halls of Residence (Dante, David Bomberg and McLaren) primarily undertaking task-based activities in relation to quality assurance operations in accordance with the UUK Accommodation Code of Practice.
This is a varied role focusing on the key priorities and critical needs of the student to ensure the student experience is not compromised whilst living in the Halls of Residence.
The role is multi-faceted encompassing a variety of administrative tasks as well as completing room inspections for Halls of Residence, inventory checking and inputting findings, visual health and safety inspections and other project-based tasks.
About You:
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with tact, discretion, and the ability to deal professionally and empathetically with our diverse students, LSBU colleagues’ external partners and agencies.
You will have a good educational background, with previous administrative experience in a similar environment, and a passion for providing an excellent front facing support service.
You will be skilled with the Microsoft office suite and have some understanding of accommodation software and enquiry management.
Experience of planning and prioritising operational activities with attention to detail is essential as you will be expected to audit your findings.
You will be fully trained in the role and set clear reporting targets.
