Job summary

Ashbrittle is a growing residential property developer seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team in the South East. You will own the commercial delivery for multiple developments, managing budgets, procurement, subcontracting, valuations and monthly reporting.

The role emphasizes autonomy in a lean, entrepreneurial SME environment, with scope to influence commercial strategy and growth across London and the South East.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential construction.
• Experience working for SME residential developers or self-builders is preferred.
• Strong procurement and subcontract management skills with cost control focus.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and CVR capability.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and communicate with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial delivery across multiple residential developments.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, subcontracting, valuations and cashflow.
• Prepare tenders, review quotes and appoint/manage subcontractors.
• Forecast project cash flow and provide commercial risk/opportunity insights.
• Prepare and maintain CVRs and final accounts; support development appraisals.
