Job summary

Hcb-Solicitors in Leicester is seeking a conveyancing professional to oversee residential sales and purchases, remortgage transactions, and equity releases from instruction to post-completion. The role requires managing titles and transfer matters with attention to detail and compliance.

You will train and support the conveyancing assistants, develop local client contacts, and cross-refer to other departments as needed. Hybrid working is available after a 3-month probation period.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential conveyancing essential.
• Strong attention to detail with titles, transfers and registrations.
• Excellent client communication and ability to develop local contacts.

Responsibilities

• To handle all conveyancing matters from initial instruction to post completion.
• To manage residential sales & purchases.
• To handle remortgage transactions and equity release transactions.
• To check titles of freehold and leasehold properties.
• To deal with transfer of equity and matrimonial transfer.
• To provide support and training to the conveyancing assistants.
• To develop client contacts in the local area.
• To cross refer clients to other departments where appropriate.
• To provide cover for other offices in the Firm when requested.
• To maintain professional relations with partners and staff.
