Job summary

G2Legal is representing a Legal 500 firm in Reading seeking an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer, Solicitor, CILEX/FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer to join the growing property team.

You will manage a varied caseload including freehold/leasehold sales, new build plots, remortgages, shared ownership, and Help to Buy, supported by a structured firm with hybrid/flexible working and a strong emphasis on work-life balance and client service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Residential Property Solicitor, Conveyancer, CILEX/FILEX or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Ability to independently manage a full conveyancing caseload.
• Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold and new build transactions.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Confident use of CMS.
• Strong organisation and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own residential property caseload from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee residential new build and plot sales.
• Administer remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Handle shared ownership and Help to Buy matters.
• Provide title checking, reporting and client advisory work.

A highly regarded Legal 500 and Chambers-listed law firm with a strong presence across the Thames Valley is seeking an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer, Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX/FILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing and supportive property team in Reading.

The Role

You will manage your own varied residential property caseload from instruction through to completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales & purchases
• Residential new build and plot sales
• Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
• Shared ownership and Help to Buy matters
• Title checking, reporting and client advisory work
• You will benefit from a well-established support structure, including experienced assistants and post-completion support, allowing you to focus on fee-earning and client relationships.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Proven ability to independently manage a full conveyancing caseload
• Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold and new build transactions
