Job summary

You will manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity while delivering a high standard of service to clients and estate agents.

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident managing deadlines and competing priorities.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of residential sales and purchases, including freehold and leasehold properties.
• Handling remortgages, transfers of equity and new-build transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and associated legal documentation.
• Raising and responding to enquiries.
• Reviewing searches, mortgage offers and title documentation.
• Managing exchanges, completions and post-completion matters.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
• Maintaining accurate files and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients.

We are working with a well-established and respected law firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their busy and growing property department.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
