Job summary

Legal Southwest Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its busy and successful Property team. This role suits a property professional looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive practice.

The successful candidate will manage their own conveyancing caseload and provide a high level of service to clients throughout the conveyancing process, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and related matters.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience within Residential Property.
• Experience managing own conveyancing caseload.
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Experience with sales, purchases and remortgages.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• An interest in contributing to the continued development of the Property department.

Responsibilities

• Manage own varied residential property caseload and provide a high level of service to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• The caseload is likely to include: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, Remortgages, Residential property transactions, Help to Buy matters, Other associated conveyancing work.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide clear, timely communication.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Property department.

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its busy and successful Property team.

The position would suit an experienced property professional looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive practice.

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced Conveyancers, ideally with at least five years’ residential property experience.

The Role:

The successful candidate will manage their own varied residential property caseload and provide a high level of service to clients throughout the conveyancing process.

The caseload is likely to include:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Residential property transactions
• Help to Buy matters
• Other associated conveyancing work

Experience across a broader range of property matters would be advantageous, and candidates with some previous exposure to non-residential property work are also encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.

About You:

The firm is looking for an experienced and confident property lawyer who is comfortable managing their own caseload and enjoys building strong relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will ideally have:
