Job description

A Residential Property Lawyer is required by one of this region’s leading law firms.

Over the last five years, our client has become one of the largest law firms in East Anglia, with almost 300 personnel and a culture that is extremely supportive and encouraging, employing full, part-time, and flexible working arrangements.

This role is joining their thriving residential team.

You will need to have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience managing your own caseload and be looking to join a strong, progressive firm.

The work will include:

• Managing a mixed caseload of matters, providing clients with high-quality, proactive legal advice.
• Advising on the buying and selling of houses, including drafting contracts, lock-out agreements, and property transfers.
• Advising on shared ownership sales and purchases, lease extensions, re-mortgages, and equity release. Providing clients with advice on the wider implications of transactions.
• Supporting senior team members in their caseloads, including managing their cases during absences. Building relationships with other departments, such as the Financial Advice team, to enhance the client experience through referrals.
