Job summary

Battersea Academy For Skills & Employment is seeking a Residential Property Manager to oversee a large-scale residential portfolio, ensuring service standards and resident satisfaction. You will work with landlords, managing agents and internal teams to deliver compliant, value-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities include lease management, disputes handling, financial oversight of service charges, and maintaining health, safety and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in residential property management (client-side or complex mixed-use).
• Strong knowledge of residential leases, service charges and landlord/tenant legislation.
• Proven experience handling tribunal cases, legal disputes and enforcement actions.
• Ability to interpret legal documents and liaise effectively with legal advisors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Strong financial literacy relating to service charges and property budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of residential assets and ensure high service levels.
• Interpret and manage lease obligations, covenants and tenancy documentation.
• Lead on disputes, tribunal proceedings and enforcement coordination.
• Oversee residential budgets, service charge expenditure and financial performance.
• Act as liaison between residents, leaseholders, internal teams, legal advisors, and managing agents.
• Ensure building safety, health and regulatory compliance.
