Job summary

Knights in Weybridge is seeking a Paralegal to join our Residential Property team. You will support conveyancing work from sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties to more complex transactions.

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with skilled lawyers on interesting property matters and to develop your experience in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in conveyancing and residential property work.
• Ability to prepare documents and manage file administration.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and other parties in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Administrative tasks including opening files, ID checks, scanning, setting up bank transfers, ordering searches
• Preparing documents - contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage deeds, land transaction returns
• More legal work as it develops - checking titles, preparing legal reports, exchanging contracts and dealing with completions
• Communication with clients and other parties involved in transactions e.g. other solicitors, mortgage lenders and estate agents
