Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal / Fee-earner

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

A law firm based in Swindon is seeking a residential property paralegal (with fee earning experience) to join their team and provide high-quality service to their established client base.

You will manage your own caseload from instruction to post-completion, handling both sales and purchases of properties. You should be able to handle full residential transactions with minimal supervision.

Key duties include:

• Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
• Drafting reports on title
• Liaising with clients and third parties (e.g., mortgage lenders)
• Dealing with enquiries
• File opening and closing, including matter balances
• Companies House registrations
• Scheduling deeds to mortgage lenders
• Drafting agreements, deeds, and contracts
• Reviewing and reporting on titles

Applicants must have at least 12 months’ experience as a residential property paralegal, with excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Ability to conduct searches independently is essential.
