Job summary

Legal Southwest Ltd in Torquay, Devon, is seeking a qualified Solicitor, CILEX lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer to join its established residential conveyancing team. Qualifications

• We would welcome applications from qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers with experience in residential property.
• You will be comfortable managing a caseload, have sound technical knowledge and take a careful, practical approach to your work.
• You will enjoy dealing with people and will communicate well, keeping clients updated and providing a service beyond completion.

Legal Southwest is recruiting for an established, non-corporate law firm in Torquay. This is an opportunity to join a local practice with an experienced conveyancing team and a strong emphasis on clear advice and personal service.

There are no individual fee targets for fee earners. The firm wants its lawyers to focus on progressing matters effectively, communicating with clients and providing a service they would be happy to recommend. The Role

You will handle residential property matters from instruction through to completion, keeping clients informed and helping them navigate what can be a significant and sometimes stressful transaction. The firm’s conveyancing practice assists clients with sales, purchases and re-mortgages across Torquay and the wider South Devon area.

Your work will involve managing your own files, liaising with clients and other parties, identifying and resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring transactions move forward efficiently. You will work alongside colleagues who understand the importance of explaining the conveyancing process clearly and giving clients confidence at each stage.

About You
