Residential Property Solicitor | Established London Firm | Existing Caseload

If you’re a Residential Property Solicitor looking to join a stable and supportive practice, this is an opportunity to become part of an established London property team with a strong flow of work and a broad client base.

You’ll manage your own residential property matters while working alongside an experienced team of conveyancers and dedicated support staff. The environment is collaborative, giving you the autonomy to develop your practice while having experienced colleagues around you when needed.

The Firm

This is a longstanding London law firm with an established client base and a strong reputation across its core practice areas.

The firm has built a particularly stable team, with low staff turnover and many lawyers developing their careers with the practice over a number of years. Its relatively compact structure means good lawyers are visible within the business and have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

There is also genuine scope for longer-term progression. Rather than operating a rigid promotion framework, the firm looks at individual performance and capability, with succession likely to create further opportunities for ambitious lawyers over the coming years. One of the leading partners in the firm initially joined as a paralegal.

The Role

You will join the Residential Property team based in the firm's North West London office, working alongside approximately four conveyancers and dedicated secretarial support, with further conveyancers based in another London office.

You will manage a broad residential conveyancing caseload with regular direct contact with clients, while benefiting from the experience and support of the wider Property team.

The work will include sales and purchases, mortgages and both freehold and leasehold transactions. The client base is varied, including property investors, first‑time buyers and individuals buying and selling homes as they move through the property market. This provides a good spread of transactions rather than a narrowly focused conveyancing practice.

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Residential Property, ideally 2 PQE+ but fairly flexible for the right person
• Comfortable independently managing your own conveyancing caseload
• Experience handling residential sales and purchases
• Good understanding of both freehold and leasehold transactions
• Experience dealing with mortgages and the wider conveyancing process
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
