Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is assisting a North London law firm to appoint a Residential Property Associate. The role handles high-quality residential conveyancing and property transactions for a varied client base, including freehold and leasehold matters, with potential involvement in complex transactions.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years PQE with solid conveyancing experience and the ability to manage a caseload with autonomy. New build experience is preferred and highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years PQE in residential conveyancing with new build experience preferred.
• Ability to manage caseload autonomously with commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience handling freehold/leasehold sales and purchases.

Responsibilities

• Handling sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Managing high-value residential transactions and new build transactions.
• Handling lease extensions, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Acting for High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients and other private individuals.
• Managing an independent caseload from instruction through to completion while building strong client relationships.
