About the role:
Gold Care Homes was established in 1999 and has grown to operate 34 care homes across the South of England. The group offers a range of services including residential, nursing, frail elderly, and dementia care.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a 90-bed Nursing and Residential Care Home in Braintree - St Mary's Court.

• Starting Salary: £70,000 per annum
• Generous Annual Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring high-quality service provision to residents
• Building and maintaining occupancy levels
• Recruiting, training, and retaining a professional staff team
• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, governance, and operational policies
• Managing the home's profit and loss within set budgets
• Promoting marketing initiatives to enhance the home's reputation

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Proven track record in managing CQC-rated good care homes, supported by a qualification such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
• Compassionate, assertive, and an inspirational leader committed to continuous quality improvement
• Operational management experience, with strong motivational and commercial skills
• Experience in increasing occupancy through strategic action plans
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently while leading large teams to meet CQC standards and residents' needs
• Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care
• Registered Nurse certification is desirable but not essential
