Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter to work on residential properties in Nottingham. You will carry out joinery, maintenance, installation and repair tasks, ensuring all work meets health and safety standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or Joinery, have a full UK driving licence, and be able to work independently or alongside other trades to deliver high‑quality workmanship on time.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or Joinery is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience carrying out joinery, maintenance and repairs in residential properties.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and alongside other trades; health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery and multi-trade installations, upgrades, maintenance and repairs within residential properties.
• Complete work in line with agreed targets, procedures and relevant legislation.
• Coordinate with other trades, colleagues, contractors and partners to ensure an excellent service for customers.
• Manage stock and materials to prevent delays and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Complete and return paperwork within agreed timescales, maintaining accurate records.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery, reporting any issues to management.
• Adapt services to meet customer needs and provide a professional standard of workmanship.
• Follow all health and safety requirements, minimising risks and ensuring work is carried out safely.
• Provide relief cover for colleagues and emergency cover when required.
• Work towards agreed performance standards and targets.
