Quantum Mortgages Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a Residential Mortgage Underwriter to assess and underwrite applications from initial receipt through to completion. You will apply credit risk policy, regulatory obligations and lending criteria to make independent, accurate decisions.

You will engage with brokers and applicants, manage a busy case pipeline, and support the underwriting team with post-offer queries while safeguarding the firm’s risk appetite and delivering compliant,

Formación

• Proven ability to manage complex mortgage cases and multiple workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, affordability analysis and regulatory obligations (AML, FCA).
• Experience with specialist residential lending and intermediary-based models.

Responsabilidades

• Process & underwrite new loans in line with policy and procedures.
• Provide proactive customer service to brokers and applicants.
• Assess borrower creditworthiness from receipt through completion.
