Job summary

Colby River is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our Glasgow team at Granary Quay. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across apartments and communal areas, ensuring safety and high standards for residents.

You will coordinate with contractors and manage resident queries to keep the development running smoothly. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, strong customer service, and a practical problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential repairs, refurbishment, building maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements, including COSHH and risk assessments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage resident expectations and respond effectively to challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, reactive and statutory maintenance across apartments and communal areas.
• Conduct regular building and apartment inspections, ensuring health and safety compliance and record keeping.
• Maintain communal areas, gardens, pathways and external spaces to a high standard.
• Liaise with contractors and support remedial works.
• Ensure tools, equipment and maintenance supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests with excellent customer service within service levels.
• Support building security, waste management and safe operation of the development.
• Respond to emergencies and provide operational support to colleagues as needed.
