Colby River is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician for Granary Quay, Glasgow. You will perform planned, reactive and statutory maintenance across apartments and communal areas to keep the development safe, well-maintained and welcoming for residents.

You will inspect buildings, repair items, work with contractors and respond to resident queries, contributing to an excellent resident experience and smooth operation of the site. Strong communication and a hands-on approach are essential.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in residential repairs, refurbishment, building maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements, including COSHH and risk assessments.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage resident expectations and respond effectively to challenging situations.
• A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and contractors.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular building and apartment inspections, ensuring health and safety compliance and accurate record keeping.
• Maintain communal areas, gardens, pathways and external spaces to a high standard.
• Liaise with contractors and support the completion of remedial works.
• Ensure tools, equipment and maintenance supplies are appropriately maintained and stocked.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and queries, delivering excellent customer service within agreed service levels.
• Support building security, waste management and the overall safe operation of the development.
• Respond to emergencies and provide operational support to colleagues when required.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team at Granary Quay, Glasgow.

In this varied role, you will carry out planned, reactive and statutory maintenance across our apartments and communal areas, ensuring the development remains safe, well-maintained and welcoming for residents.

From completing repairs and inspections to working with contractors and responding to resident queries, you'll play an important part in keeping the development running smoothly and delivering an excellent resident experience.

Working Pattern

40 hours a week

5 days over 7, some weekends included

8am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities

About You

Essential

• A relevant trade qualification would be an advantage.
