Job summary

Worcester Council is seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join the Property Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage a portfolio of residential properties, inspect assets, diagnose defects, and specify repairs while overseeing contractor work to ensure safety, compliance and high living standards.

Reporting to the Head of Property & Asset Management, you will communicate with stakeholders and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, literacy and numeracy are essential.
• Eye for detail and quality standards are important in maintaining and improving housing stock.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties and undertake property inspections.
