Job summary

Oscar Underhill Recruitment Solutions Ltd is assisting a housing team by recruiting a Property Surveyor for a short-term assignment in the Evesham/Worcester area. You will carry out property inspections, diagnose maintenance issues and oversee repairs through to completion.

The temporary role lasts approximately two months, is 37 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00) with ASAP start. A professional surveying qualification and full driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• A professional surveying qualification.
• Proven experience in property surveying and residential inspections.
• Experience diagnosing damp, mould and building defects.
• Experience supervising contractors and preparing specifications.
• Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety, CDM and HHSRS.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach with tenants.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Available to start at short notice for approx. two months.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs inspections and prepare defect reports.
• Investigate damp, mould and building defects and identify remedial works.
• Oversee contractors, monitor costs and safety compliance.
• Conduct stock condition and HHSRS surveys.
• Prepare void schedules and liaise with occupational therapists.
• Raise works orders and check contractor invoices.
