Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd in South East England – Sway is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered children’s residential home. You will ensure regulatory compliance, provide day-to-day leadership, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people.

This full-time role offers a salary up to £55,000 per annum, a permanent contract, and opportunities to develop a high-performing team within a respected care provider.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within a children’s residential home setting.
  • At least one year’s experience in a supervisory or management role within children’s residential care.
  • A robust understanding of safeguarding, child protection and the Ofsted regulatory framework.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this).
  • Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
  • A resilient, compassionate and proactive approach to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.
  • Monitor and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Manage the home’s budget and resources efficiently and responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all statutory notifications and reporting requirements promptly.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving and sustaining a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

About The Role

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to advance your career?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking a passionate and committed Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered children’s residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive organisation dedicated to delivering outstanding, child-centred care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

As the Registered Manager, you will provide overall leadership, management, and day-to-day oversight of the home, ensuring full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You will foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children in your care.

About You

To excel in this role, you will have:
