Job summary

ITS Construction is recruiting on behalf of a well-established groundworks contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee residential groundworks projects in Gloucester. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and plant, and ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule and to high standards on a busy pipeline of residential developments.

You will lead toolbox talks, monitor progress and maintain records to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager within residential groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, roads & sewers, foundations and plot works.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily site operations on residential groundworks projects.
• Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and plant on site.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitoring programme and productivity to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
• Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers and the wider project team.
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress.
• Managing quality control and ensuring work meets specification.
• Ordering materials and coordinating site logistics.
