Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform domestic electrical installations across residential properties. You will conduct inspections, tests, and certifications, and document results in line with British Standards.

The role requires independent work, strong fault-finding skills, and a flexible approach including regional out-of-hours standby. You must hold City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent and have Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience carrying out domestic electrical installations.
• Experience conducting electrical inspection and testing in line with British Standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent fault-finding, installation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Flexible approach to work, including participation in the out-of-hours standby rota.
• Right to Work documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations across residential properties.
• Conduct electrical inspection and testing in accordance with British Standards.
• Complete all relevant certification, documentation, and records accurately.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and installation issues.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in compliance with current regulations.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship across all projects.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure all work is completed efficiently and ongoing requirements are recorded appropriately.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and team members.
• Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
• Participate in the regional out-of-hours standby rota when required.
