Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform domestic electrical installations across residential properties. You will conduct inspections, tests, and certifications, and document results in line with British Standards.

The role requires independent work, strong fault-finding skills, and a flexible approach including regional out-of-hours standby. You must hold City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent and have Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience carrying out domestic electrical installations.
• Experience conducting electrical inspection and testing in line with British Standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent fault-finding, installation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Flexible approach to work, including participation in the out-of-hours standby rota.
• Right to Work documentation.

Job description

The successful candidate will carry out domestic electrical installations, inspection, testing, maintenance, and associated electrical works across residential properties.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and British Standards. The role will involve working closely with customers and colleagues to maintain excellent service standards and ensure all ongoing work requirements are managed effectively.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Fully qualified Electrician.
• City & Guilds 2391 qualification (or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.
