Job summary

S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd in the energy sector is recruiting an Electrical Manager for residential installations. Based in Gloucester with remote and travel to sites across the South Midlands.

You will lead installation teams, ensure BS7671 compliance and MCS standards, and drive project planning, quality control, and customer communications. The role requires strong leadership, health and safety focus, and the ability to coordinate multiple sites while maintaining excellent service

Qualifications

• Residential electrical installations management experience.
• Experience with solar PV, energy storage and EV charging installations.
• Knowledge of BS7671 and MCS/NICEIC environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential electrical installation teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671, MCS and safety regulations.
• Plan and schedule installations for efficiency.
• Provide guidance on complex installations and technical reviews.
• Monitor quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams for delivery.
• Ensure accurate certification and documentation.
• Support recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Lead toolbox talks and health and safety culture promotion.
• Assist with audits, inspections and continuous improvement.
