Job summary

S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd is hiring an Electrical Manager to oversee residential electrical installations, including solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and heat pump works. You’ll manage installation teams and ensure compliance with current regulations and customer standards, while supporting planning, training, and safety initiatives.

The role requires experience in residential projects, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of BS7671 and MCS/NICEIC environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and renewable tech.
• Excellent knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety compliance.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential electrical installation teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure works comply with BS7671, MCS standards, and safety laws.
• Plan and schedule installations for operational efficiency.
• Provide technical reviews and guidance on complex installations.
• Monitor quality and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to support delivery.
• Ensure certification and compliance documentation is accurate.
• Support recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
