Cobalt Recruitment is representing a well-established residential property management business seeking an Assistant General Manager for a large-scale development in Manchester. The role offers broad operational responsibility with clear performance measures and exposure across resident experience, building operations and compliance.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead front-of-house teams, support recruitment and onboarding, and help drive occupancy, revenue and customer service

Formación

• Working knowledge of building and property management including health and safety requirements.
• Experience leading or supporting colleagues within an operational environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and external partners.
• A clear focus on customer service and improving resident experience.
• Experience using property management software (e.g., Yardi) or similar CRM.
• IRPM or ARLA qualifications and knowledge of ESG initiatives would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support front-of-house Resident Services Associates, including direct line management responsibilities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and the implementation of operational processes.
• Contribute to the lease-up strategy, occupancy performance and resident retention.
• Oversee resident communications and ensure service requests and complaints are handled within agreed timescales.
• Review resident feedback and identify practical improvements to the resident experience.
• Support building compliance, health and safety processes, site inspections and contractor management.
• Oversee vacant apartment turnarounds and support planned maintenance activity.
• Monitor expenditure and contribute to financial reporting, management accounts and performance KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.
• Build effective relationships with residents, suppliers and other stakeholders.
