Job summary

Linsco is recruiting an Engineer to join a growing national housebuilder's regional technical team in Notts. The role covers feasibility through to construction, infrastructure procurement and adoption, supporting land, development and site teams on housing schemes.

You will bring a background in residential development or civil engineering with technical design experience and AutoCAD, plus knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC/SECURED BY DESIGN requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and/or strong experience in technical design, civil engineering or residential development.
• Knowledge of highway design standards and SeweRS for Adoption.
• Understanding of Building Regulations and British Standards.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Strong numerical and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to Land and Development teams during feasibility studies and site viability reports.
• Identify and appoint external consultants, agreeing scopes, fees, programmes and deliverables.
• Manage consultant relationships and ensure deliverables meet project programmes and warranty standards.
• Coordinate utilities, including designs, quotations and related agreements.
• Assist with tendering, establishment and management of site management companies.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet Building Regulations and warranty approvals.
• Attend site and lead technical meetings relating to procurement and approval of site infrastructure.
• Assist with technical reporting, KPIs and status updates.
