Job summary
Linsco is seeking an Engineer in Nottingham to provide technical and engineering support throughout the development process, from feasibility through construction and adoption of site infrastructure.
The role requires experience in civil engineering, residential development, and strong knowledge of design standards. You will coordinate consultants, manage warranties, and liaise with internal teams to meet project milestones.
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering qualification or strong experience in technical design.
- Experience in civil engineering for housebuilding is preferred.
- Familiarity with building regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of NHBC, LABC or Secured by Design is desirable.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drawing.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to feasibility studies and site viability reports.
- Identify and manage external consultants; define scopes, fees, programmes and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to meet warranties and building standards.
- Support with tendering, site management company setup, and adoption process of site infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and civil/structural requirements across projects.
- Attend technical meetings and provide regular status updates and KPI reporting.
