Job summary

TSR Legal are seeking an experienced Title Checker / Technical Conveyancer to join its residential property team in South Wales. The role focuses on technical oversight rather than managing own caseload, supporting fee earners with complex matters and ensuring high-quality service.

Based in Pontypridd, the successful candidate will review files before exchange and completion, check titles and documentation, and help drive best practices across the department.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' post-qualification experience ideally
• Strong background in residential conveyancing with excellent technical knowledge
• Enjoy problem-solving and reviewing complex matters
• Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality work
• Seeking to move away from fee earning while remaining involved in conveyancing
• Enjoy supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Review residential conveyancing files prior to exchange and completion
• Check titles, searches, reports and legal documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Identify and resolve technical issues and complex title matters
• Provide guidance and support to fee earners on technical conveyancing queries
• Ensure files meet regulatory, lender and internal quality standards
• Assist with continuous improvements to processes and best practice across the department
