Role Description
- Manage the residential conveyancing process—from onboarding to file closure, post-completion, and Land Registry submissions. Handle a varied caseload including freehold, leasehold, right-to-buy, new-build, and remortgage matters. Collaborate and mentor: share your expertise with junior staff and exchange ideas with colleagues.
- Maintain client-first communication: translate legal jargon into simple language (we pride ourselves on five-star reviews). Opportunities to work on commercial projects are available. No prior experience needed in this area, as our senior team will guide you.
- What You’ll Bring:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX with some commercial conveyancing exposure.
- At least 2 years’ practical residential conveyancing experience, familiar with case-management systems and digital ID checks.
- Confident with Land Registry portal and SDLT/LBTT forms; proactive about process improvements. Calm, organized, and able to work under deadlines. Business development skills are a plus.
