Job summary

Pertemps Southwest is recruiting on behalf of a Bristol-based law firm for a Residential Property Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join a growing team. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to work closely with the Director on a varied residential conveyancing caseload.

The successful candidate will manage own caseload, handle sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new builds, while maintaining exceptional client service and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' PQE as a Residential Property Solicitor.
• Proven experience managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law.
• Outstanding communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Proactive and professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Director and team.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload independently from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Manage remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.
• Deliver exceptional client service throughout the conveyancing process.
• Build strong relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and property professionals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and assist growth of the department.

The Role

As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will work alongside the Director and be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Managing remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.
• Delivering exceptional client service throughout every stage of the conveyancing process.
• Building strong relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other property professionals.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Assisting with the continued growth and success of the residential property department.
