Job summary

Themis Recruit is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our Gravesend team. You will manage busy residential and commercial conveyancing matters, supported by secretarial assistance, in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

You will handle freehold/leasehold transactions, transfers of equity, remortgages, and related title work, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion while developing strong client relationships and contributing to business

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in residential conveyancing with knowledge of commercial property.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic and expanding team in Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a busy and diverse caseload, with exposure to both residential and commercial conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will be supported by secretarial assistance and will work in a collaborative and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

Transfers of equity

Remortgages

Title checking, search reports, and enquiries

Stamp Duty procedures

Handle leasehold transactions including:

Lease renewals

Deeds of surrender

Grant of new leases

Regulation of landlord and tenant relationships

Deal with commercial property transactions such as:

Business acquisitions and disposals

Utilities agreements

Take responsibility for files from instruction to completion

Engage actively in business development and client relationship management

Requirements

• Extensive experience in residential conveyancing with a good working knowledge of commercial property work
  
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision
