TSR Legal in Kent is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to handle a mixed caseload from instruction through completion. You will maintain high standards of client care, communicate clearly with clients and agents, and support junior colleagues while contributing to the firm’s development.

Qualifications

• Experience handling residential conveyancing transactions and managing your own caseload.
• Qualified in law or recognised conveyancing professional track (LPC/CILEx/LC).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion ensuring timely progress.
• Communicate proactively with clients, estate agents, lenders and others.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Providing clear, proactive communication to clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties throughout the transaction.
• Ensuring files are progressed efficiently, with appropriate attention to detail and deadlines.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and support staff where required.
• Contributing to business development, networking and marketing activities to help strengthen the firm's profile and generate new business.
• Supporting colleagues during periods of absence and contributing to the wider team's success.
• Adhering to regulatory requirements, risk management procedures and internal compliance standards.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of conveyancing legislation, regulations and market developments.

You will ideally have:

• Experience handling residential conveyancing transactions and the ability to manage your own caseload independently.
• A Law Degree, LPC, CILEx qualification or Licensed Conveyancer qualification, although applications from experienced conveyancers without formal qualifications are also welcome.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence using case management systems and digital working processes.
• A proactive, commercially aware approach to client relationships and business development.
• A collaborative attitude and a willingness to support and develop colleagues.
• A genuine interest in developing your technical expertise and progressing your career.
