Job summary

Venn Group’s specialist legal recruitment team is supporting a respected law firm in Leeds with the recruitment of a Residential Conveyancing Locum. This ongoing assignment offers an immediate start, a busy caseload and the opportunity to provide valuable support to an established property department.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload from instruction through to post-completion, handling freehold/leasehold transactions and liaising with clients and lenders to keep matters

Qualifications

• Experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently.
• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive or experienced fee earner.
• Able to start at short notice in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion.
• Deal with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties to ensure matters progress smoothly.

The Role
