Ambitions Personnel in Histon, Cambridge is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant to support our residential property department. The role is full-time, office-based, with a salary of £26,000–£30,000 and a Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:15 PM schedule.

You will manage completions, SDLT, land registry tasks, and file management, collaborating with solicitors and assistants to handle an active caseload from instruction to archive.

Qualifications

• Proven conveyancing experience in residential property as a legal assistant or paralegal.
• Autonomous handling of completions, post-completions, Land Registry portal usage and SDLT submissions.
• Excellent communication and a team-player attitude.
• Location: Histon office, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completions and post-completions processes.
• Prepare SDLT returns and handle Land Registry applications.
• Organise and progress physical and digital files from instruction to archive.
• Collaborate with solicitors and assistants in a fast-paced team.
