A well-established law firm is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Lawyer - Locum to assist with diverse residential conveyancing matters. This standalone role requires a qualified Solicitor or Conveyancer with extensive post-completion experience. The position allows for hybrid or remote working for the right candidate and offers competitive pay based on experience.
Residential Conveyancing Lawyer - Locum | 5+ years’ experience | London / Hybrid / Remote | Up to £45 per hour |Ref: 9905
A well-established firm we are working with are currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Locum/ Licensed Residential Conveyancer to assist with post-completion requisitions and ongoing residential conveyancing matters. This is a standalone role best suited to someone confident managing files independently, with minimal support.
The Role: What to Expect
- Handle a range of residential conveyancing matters, including completions and post-completion
- Deal with requisitions and other follow-up correspondence from the Land Registry
- Work through live files using CLIO and InfoTrack systems
- Manage matters independently, with limited admin support available
- Access to the relevant portals will be provided candidates are expected to take full ownership of their caseload
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE or a Licensed Conveyancer with at least 10 years’ experience
- Proven experience in managing post-completion matters and dealing with Land Registry requisitions
- Essential: Strong working knowledge of InfoTrack and CLIO case management systems
- Self-sufficient, organised, and able to work with little or no supervision
- Previous experience in a similar locum or standalone conveyancing role highly desirable
What’s on Offer:
- Hourly rate: Up to £45 per hour, depending on experience
- Office-based preferred, but hybrid or remote working options considered for the right candidate
- London-based office with nearby public parking and 1 staff car park space (to be arranged if required)
- Start date: ASAP
- Working arrangements: Minimum 2 weeks, 3 days per week
