Job summary

Clayton Legal is representing a respected Manchester-based law firm seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its specialist property team on a hybrid basis.

The role covers freehold and leasehold properties, tenancies, SDLT submissions, and Land Registry filings, with a focus on bespoke client service rather than volume work. You will need about three years of experience and appropriate qualifications.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience managing residential conveyancing matters.
• Strong drafting skills and ability to manage files from start to finish.
• Qualified lawyer: law degree, PGDL, ILEX or CLC qualification.
• Experience with leases, SDLT, and Land Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions from instruction to post-completion.
• Liaise with surveyors, estate agents, clients and third parties.
• Attend client meetings and support Court of Protection matters.
