Clayton Legal in Farnham, Surrey is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner / Solicitor to join a growing Property team. The role involves managing a varied caseload of residential property matters and delivering an excellent client experience in a supportive, people-focused firm.

The ideal candidate will handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership, and other conveyancing tasks within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experienced residential conveyancer who can manage their own caseload.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property law.
• Provides excellent client service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee remortgages and transfers of equity.

The Role

You’ll handle a broad range of residential property matters, including:

• Freehold & leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Shared ownership
• Registered & unregistered land
• General residential conveyancing transactions
• New-build transactions, including developer liaison, tight exchange deadlines and lender requirements
