Job summary

LR Legal Recruitment is recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established law firm's residential property team in Histon.

You will support day-to-day conveyancing matters, progress transactions, prepare correspondence and legal documents, and liaise with clients, solicitors and agents to keep files on track.

This is a permanent, office-based role in Histon (CB24), offering a salary up to £30k dependent on experience and Monday to Friday working hours.

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience within a legal environment and be comfortable working in a busy team.
• You will be organized, have good attention to detail and be confident communicating with clients and other professionals.
• The firm is open to candidates from a range of legal support backgrounds, including Conveyancing Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Legal Assistants and Paralegals.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the progression of residential conveyancing matters
• Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
• Dealing with searches and enquiries
• Assisting with exchange and completion
• Maintaining accurate files and records
• Providing general administrative and legal support to the team
• Dealing with client queries and providing updates where required
