Job summary

Yorkshire Pie Company is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join a busy residential property team. You will support a Conveyancer and help progress remortgage or conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.

In a fast-paced, high-volume environment you will deliver excellent client service, manage files, chase third parties and assist with exchanges and completions, contributing to a supportive, training-focused culture with clear progression prospects.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience within remortgage or residential conveyancing.
• Experience in a conveyancing, administrative or customer service-focused role.
• Experience working within a busy, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent level of customer service to clients and corporate referrers.
• Supporting a Conveyancer to achieve conversion, service and performance targets.
• Managing electronic and paper-based files and carrying out a range of administrative duties.
• Chasing clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties for information and documentation.
• Chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors.
• Assisting with exchanges and completions.
• Inputting and interpreting key data, including redemption figures.
• Preparing, sending and checking legal documentation.
• Reviewing and inputting mortgage offers on purchase transactions.
• Assisting with enquiries on sale transactions.
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client care.
