Job summary

QED Legal are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Teesside law firm with a strong local reputation. This Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor role covers sales and purchases, with ownership of your own caseload in a relationship-led environment rather than high-volume conveyancing.

You will handle both freehold and leasehold transactions from instruction through to completion, drafting and reviewing contracts and title documentation, liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other

Qualifications

• Solid residential conveyancing experience; ability to run files competently.
• 1–3 years fee-earning experience preferred, PQE or qualification considered.
• Ability to communicate well with clients and other professionals; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of residential sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold).
• Draft and review contracts, title documents and other conveyancing paperwork.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors; maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently and to a high standard.
